Count Rugen: [Inigo stands up after getting stabbed by a knife thrown by Count Rugen] Good heavens. Are you still trying to win?
[Inigo falls back against the wall]
Count Rugen: You've got an overdeveloped sense of vengeance. It's going to get you into trouble someday
Count Rugen: [Inigo falls back against the wall] You've got an overdeveloped sense of vengeance. It's going to get you into trouble someday.
Count Rugen: [Rugen draws his sword and lunges at Inigo who then forces the blade to his left shoulder. Again Rugen lunges at Inigo and the blade is deflected to Inigo's right arm]
Inigo Montoya: [Rugen swings his sword but Inigo blocks it and then begins advancing] Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father prepare to die.
Inigo Montoya: [He falls on a table. Rugen attacks and Inigo blocks four times before he continues to advance on Rugen]
Inigo Montoya: Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father prepare to die.
Count Rugen: [Now Rugen attacks five times and Inigo blocks every single one]
Inigo Montoya: [Louder] Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father prepare to die.
Count Rugen: Stop saying that!
Inigo Montoya: [Rugen attacks and Inigo blocks it and then stabs Rugen in the shoulder. Then Rugen swings his sword. Inigo ducks and stabs Rugen in the other shoulder. Then he advances quickly and they fight] Hello! My name is Inigo Montoya! You killed my father prepare to die!
Count Rugen: [Rugen gets his sword knocked away and Inigo slices his cheek] No!
Inigo Montoya: Offer me money
Count Rugen: Yes
Inigo Montoya: Power too promise that!
[he slices Rugen's other cheek]
Count Rugen: All that I have and more. Please.
Inigo Montoya: Offer me everything I ask for.
Inigo Montoya: Anything you want.
Count Rugen: [Rugen attacks but Inigo grabs his arm and stabs Rugen in the stomach]
Inigo Montoya: I want my father back you son of a bitch.
[Inigo plunches the sword into Rugen's gut and he falls down dead]

TOKYO (Reuters) - Cleanliness has long been next to godliness for the hygiene-conscious Japanese, but fortune-tellers are now advising those who want to succeed in life to start by scrubbing the smallest room.
"Cleaning the toilet to attract luck" published this month is the latest in a series of books advising readers on how to attract good fortune using a brush and an array of cleaning fluids.
"Don't just wipe the floor, polish it," the book instructs. "It's important to maintain a positive mood while cleaning."
The books are inspired by Buddhist teachings and feng shui, a traditional Chinese belief that people's fortunes are determined by their surroundings.
The idea that Lady Luck may be hiding in the lavatory has been taken up by magazines and television programs."I won the lottery! I married my ideal person! I got pregnant!" read some of the claims on the cover of another book on the topic, published last year.
The idea that a clean toilet can bring good fortune, or even make you more beautiful, has existed in Japan for many years, according to Yuka Soma of Makino Publishing in Tokyo, editor of one of the toilet books.
But she is still waiting for a big stroke of luck.
"I've always cleaned my toilet every day, so it never really gets dirty," she said. "At least it's easy that way and it probably helps keep my family healthy," she said.

hell
by BlackSwan of Memphis inok, i just got back from going to the movie bridge to tarabithia.. without going into details, the movie touches on the idea of unsaved persons going to hell.. this bothers me a great deal.. i just walked out of a religion that teaches that millions are going to be destroyed for not worshipping god just the right way.. it is amazing how many people really do believe that i and my husband and my fellow pagan friends, will be burning in hell.. how does that differ from armageddon?.
this was a key reason why i left orthodox christianity behind.
my sister as well as so many others have lived their own personal hells here on earth, the notion that a person could believe that since they do not believe in jesus as their saviour they will burn in hell is just beyond unsettling.

Wow, I didn't realize this had gotten so many responses.
Jeff: thank you for that. As I have mentioned here and to you, I am still wading my way through the Catechism, I do think it's going to take some time to get through it.
I just thought of something. Some months back I was watching Mother Angelica on EWTN. She was talking about hell. And in all honesty, she scared the crap out of me. The way she described hell, really did not match what I had thought the Catechism said. (Which now that you have kindly posted it, it doesn't.) In fact, her description, didn't even sound that biblical. I have to admit, I was really surprised. And I partly wonder if that was something that turned me off to The Church.
Tetra: Hmm, how true.
Abandoned: Wait, wait... the movie itself Did Not concentrate on hell. It touched on it at some point. Other then the fact that it was tear jerker, the movie was really good. Not at all what I expected, but very good.
5go: Lol, very cute. Actually I did a wiki search on Christian beliefs regarding hell and came up with this. Note the jw info at the bottom.
Foundmyway: For me, paganism just really expresses my thoughts on life and God, whatever and whoever God is. You could ask 100 pagans what they believe, and you might likely get 100 different answers. To me, that is perfectly ok and I love it. Everyone has a very different way of seeing God. Be it solely within themselves or a polytheistic pantheon of deities. It's all good. It may contradict at times, but then who of us can ever really say we have all the answers and know for sure what's out there? (I mean this in a non literal physic type way ahem)
I do think you are right. That it was invented to keep people following in fear. It kept them in line. Much the same way that fear of Armageddon keeps people in line in the Org.
Stealth: Again, I agree with this. It's a tool to keep people enslaved. Sad really.
thank you for the answers, and my apologies for losing track of it!!!!!

Meredith Grey makes me feel like punching something - namely her irritatingly shallow self - right in the mouth. What a waste of celluloid.
Ok, print and get some darts. And when you have a really bad day, you can throw darts.
Just remember I do not advocate violence.

Is anyone else concerned?
by sammielee24 inthe usa rating has slipped to at least 50th place - down from about 17th just a few years ago.
one way that all dictatorships gain and keep control of their people, is to supress information and control media.
this gradually paves the way for a totalitarian government in which you are fed a constant supply of government approved news - which in turn creates much more isolationisim and brainwashing.

There was a very interesting program on Starz this last fall which has been reaired a couple more times. I cannot think of the name of it though.
It was very, very enlightening. It didn't go into oil vs wmd.
But it sure as hell pointed out how very slowly and very quietly the USA is becoming totaliatarian. It controls the media, how much information we get. It is getting very, very scary.
The number of wounded is frighteningly high. I hear often about the death toll, but rarely do I hear the casualties that will live without half their freaking head.
What is scarier, is that people Voted this man in AFTER it was plain, clear as day, that he Lied about this war.
<<shakes head>>
I don't do political conversations, but Sammie, you have hit on a topic that grates my nerves.

No girlscouts is a no no.
I'm probably going to get my daughters involved with spiral scouts, which is basically a very similar thing, but it is geared for pagan parents.
http://www.spiralscouts.org/metadot/index.pl
Some of the things I have seen in the news regarding the girl/boy scouts has concerned me. I believe there was an instance or there is a rule that homosexuals cannot be leaders. Plus, I get a very strong Christian vibe from it, which I don't believe is Wrong, we just aren't raising our kids along those lines and felt that spiral scouts would be a better choice.
